1. Cucumbertown

    Cucumbertown

Cucumbertown is a delightfully simple recipe blogging platform. So many recipe bloggers have to rely on cumbersome platforms like WordPress or Tumblr to share their recipes. We aim to fix that by providing an easy way to publish beautiful recipes with no learning curve, while at the same time building a central location for anyone to browse.

Other recipe sites put users second, focusing only on building a database. Cucumbertown gives users an identity with their own recipe blogs.

So whether you’re a top chef, foodie, or casual cook, come join us over at Cucumbertown. I promise you’ll love it.

  2. Salon Desiree

    Salon Desiree

A local salon and day spa desperately needed an updated design. The owner came to me looking for something modern and chic, while projecting a bit of the tropical feeling of the salon’s atmosphere.

I designed and built the website in HTML, CSS, and jQuery. Simple PHP was used to template the site’s header and footer. The website is responsive and scales down to all device sizes using the Foundation framework.

  3. BrewTrackr

    BrewTrackr

BrewTrackr is a personal side project that developed from my friends and I wanting to keep track of the craft beer we’ve tried. There are services out there similar to the idea, but most of them are focused around a social aspect and broadcasting what you’re drinking at that moment. BrewTrackr takes a different approach in that at its core is a personal tracking and rating rather than telling everyone what you’re drinking.

This was a project I used to teach myself some PHP. I designed and built the front-end in HTML, CSS, and jQuery, and I also built the back-end in CodeIgniter. The website is responsive and scales down to all device sizes using the Foundation framework.

  4. Second Bit, LLC

    Second Bit, LLC

Second Bit is a budding software development team based out of Buffalo, NY. They’ve released products that have reached thousands of users and been covered by well-known publications. They came to me looking for a website to get their online presence up and running. I designed a site for them that provided a professional look to complement their high quality products.

The website was designed and built with HTML and CSS. The front-end code was then handed over to be implemented in a simple content management system built by their team.
